Kevin Van WykLead Pastor[email protected]
I have been in full-time ministry for over 20 years, serving as an associate pastor, lead pastor, and a church planter. I love initiating and leading healthy change; studying and teaching the Bible; worshiping; and equipping others to lead. My heart is to revitalize churches and plant new churches which will effectively equip the next generation to make disciples. I met Stephanie, my wife, at Central College, where we both received degrees in Music Education and began leading worship. We were married in 1994, a year after graduating, then moved to California where I received a Master’s of Divinity in 1999 from Fuller Theological Seminary. During this time, I interned at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Paramount, CA. Since then I have served in Sheboygan Falls, WI as the Associate Pastor; in Evansdale and Waterloo, IA as a Lead Pastor/Church Planter; and in Alto, WI as the Lead Pastor. I serve on the Alliance Ordination Oversight Team, the Midwest Network Admin Board, and am the Wisconsin Cluster Leader. Stephanie and I have three adult children in college and recently began fostering other children. I look forward to walking with you and growing in our faith together. |
Tim FennellEquipping Young Adults & Families DirectorI began working in Student Ministry in 2018. First with Young Life in Maine and then as the Youth Director at Hopewell Reformed Church in New York. I love relationtional style ministry with the focus in discipleship and believe it's importantant to earn the right to be heard by people in and outsde the church. I have a passion for teaching Scripture and encouraging others to be excited about how God is revealing himself to us throughout our life.
Prior to my work in minsitry, I graduated with a Masters in Historical Archaeology from the University of Sheffield in England and worked as an archaeologist in England and Spain. My reserch was on Monastic Tithe Barns and the Islamic conquest of southern Spain. Soon after this work, I came to the faith and God took me into a direction I never expected to be. I became an international teacher, teaching AP/IB English, History, and Theory of Knowledge in Florida and Costa Rica. Addtionally, I co-taught Special Education and coached high school football in Maine. This past year I began the MDiv program at Western Theological Seminary. I look forward to bridging the gap between youth and adulthood by equipping and supporting our young adults and young families with applicable ways to live out their faith daily. |
Lynnae LoomansEquipping Children & Families Director[email protected]
I have been serving as the Equipping Children & Families Director since August 2022. Before starting this position and having children, I worked with children in many different ways such as, nanny, daycare, and babysitting. I received my associates degree in Early Childcare Education in 2013. I enjoy watching children grow into their faith but also into the person God has called them to be. My husband, Chad and I grew up in Waupun, started dating after I graduated high school in 2009. After long distances for a year while I was in Kansas as a nanny, I moved back home and a year later we got engaged, then got married in March of 2012. Chad works as a plumber with a company out of Madison. We have been very blessed with 3 children of our own. While following God's lead, we felt called to foster and we have been blessed with a few children in and out of our house. Merlayna, our oldest loves horses, Barbies, and Polly Pockets. Stella loves riding bike, jumping on the trampoline, and rollerblading. Zeke right now loves Legos, baseball, basketball and helping with anything outside. Jett, our youngest, loves building with magnetics, playing with puppets, and rollerblading. Together, as a family, we enjoy going on bike rides, running, walking on our land whether it's checking the traps or trail camera cards, playing in the yard and watching movies. |
Randy McDanielEquipping Youth Director[email protected]
My name is Randy McDaniel. My story is simple: Christ alone. I am originally from Indiana but have been living in the Waupun area since 2017. I grew up in a small, rural area, attended church regularly, helped with youth ministry, and served in other areas. But I lacked the most important thing of all, true saving faith. I never really believed in Jesus, and although it was evident throughout my school years, it was plain as day after I graduated. I fell completely away, but God didn’t leave me alone. In 2013, I married my beautiful wife who is the love of my life. Her love for Christ was something that always poked at me not allowing me to forget God altogether. We have three children who have been an unspeakable joy, and God’s awesomeness became unmistakable. It wasn’t until 2019 God spoke so clearly to me convicting me of my desperate need for Him. I started listening to sermons and praying God reveal Himself to me. After two months of “counting the costs” I gave my life to Jesus in true faith. Since then, nothing has been the same. My family and I started attending Alto Reformed Church, I was baptized, and every day I become more and more what Jesus wants me to be and less and less like my old self. For several years I served as a middle school Sunday School teacher, and a coach for High School Youth Group, and in 2022 I began down the path of full-time ministry. Our lead pastor began mentoring me, I began taking on-line ministry classes through Christian Leaders Institute, and began occasionally preaching at churches in need of pulpit supply. In 2024, I was approved for and accepted into the ordination process through the Alliance of the Reformed Churches. Shortly after that, I accepted the open position of Youth Director here at Alto Reformed Church. God’s working in my life has equipped me and giving me such a love for His people, and such a heart for the youth. I have a strong passion to know them, reach them, teach them, and point them to Christ because that time in my life was when I struggled, missed what faith really was, and fell away. I am excited to serve you and your families as we grow together in the likeness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
Megan Vande ZandeOffice Administrator[email protected]
I have been the Office Administrator here at Alto Reformed Church since 2016. Prior to this I was the office manager at a chiropractic office, but when this position opened at church, I knew it was exactly where I needed to be and felt that God had prepared me for the change. I enjoy working with the various ministries throughout the church. My husband, Klint, and I grew up in Waupun, started dating in high school, and have been married since 2008. Klint received his Associate Degree at Fox Valley Technical College as an Ag Repair Technician and I received my Associate Degree at Moraine Park Technical College as a Chiropractic Technician and Chiropractic Radiologic Technician. Klint works as a mechanic at a local cable boring company. In my spare time, I enjoy reading or doing anything that involves quality time as a family. We are blessed with two boys:
I look forward to continuing to build relationships and work alongside you. |
